Come Out Swinging for the 2018 Knights Golf Tournament

The Middle Georgia State University Foundation is pleased to present the Fourth Annual Knights Golf Tournament!

All golfers receive a tournament gift and a swag bag with golfing accessories. Participants are invited to join us for lunch and a reception following the tournament.

For the winning teams, prize packages will be awarded with a combined value of $3,000. Throughout the day there will be additional on-course games for prize money.

MGA’s New Summer Scholars Program Gives Incoming Freshmen an Early Start

This summer, Middle Georgia State University gets surreal.

Thanks to a new Summer Scholars program, entering freshmen and dual enrolled students can earn six hours of college core course credit through a high-impact experience that includes explorations of Georgia sites with the air of mystique about them, including the city of Savannah, Ocmulgee National Monument in Macon, and the grounds of the old Central State Hospital in Milledgeville.

2018 MGA Academic Bowl – Calling All Volunteers!

On Friday, March 2, 2018, Middle Georgia State University will host the 31st annual MGA Academic Bowl Competition for local high school students in the Teacher Education Building (TEB) on the Macon campus. As in past competitions, there is a need for volunteers to serve as question readers, scorekeepers, and timekeepers.

Workshop Opportunity: Best Practices for Teaching a V-con Class

This workshop will focus on the “dos and don’ts” of videoconferencing classroom instruction across the campuses of Middle Georgia State University. Strategies related to increasing student engagement and overcoming obstacles will be addressed. Attendees will leave with best practices gleaned from experience and research that can be used to help increase student and faculty achievement and success.
