Early Voting for the November 5, 2019 General Election has begun!
Did you know that eligible voters CAN vote in the Nov. 26 runoff election, even if they did not vote in the General Election? Early voting is now underway in runoff elections to choose Georgia’s Secretary of State and to fill a Public Service Commission post.
#MiddleGAVotes is a non-partisan coalition of businesses, civic organizations, and colleges and universities in the region dedicated to increasing civic involvement and voter registration among their employees and, in the case of educational institutions, students.
Runoff elections for Georgia Secretary of State and Public Service Commission District 3 are Tuesday, Dec. 4th.
Tuesday, November 6th is election day! #MiddleGAVotes has provided resources to check voter registration status and polling locations as well as an Official Macon-Bibb Sample Ballot to assist voters in choosing State Officials and Amendments.
Monday, October 29th through Friday, November 2nd is the last week of early voting for midterm elections. Georgia’s general election for governor and other state officers is November 6th!
Don’t forget that the polls are open for you to cast your vote early until November 2, 2018.
In the only candidate forum being held in Macon for any of the statewide offices, the two candidates for state School Superintendent will discuss issues at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Mercer University School of Medicine Auditorium, 1550 College Street, Macon. The moderator will be Middle Georgia State University’s Charles Richardson. The public is cordially invited.
