The President will give a short 15-20 minute address in Russell Hall Auditorium on our Cochran campus at 9:00 a.m. on Friday 9th September. Faculty and Staff are invited to attend in person or to listen to the address via video stream: www.mga.edu/live.

Survey results will be used to facilitate further discussion during Banner’s onsite visit this summer and to assist in creating an Action Plan for Middle Georgia State University.
Now that we officially received USG State University Status, we will begin Phase 2 of creating our MGA Strategic Plan–campus conversations with the Provost on our Strategic Priorities.
The Strategic Planning Board, a standing committee of the Faculty Senate, issued its report this week. The report tracks institutional progress as measured against Middle Georgia State College’s current mission and strategic plan, that was developed in 2012.
This week, the Strategic Planning Committee sent our draft mission statement to the Faculty Senate for review. Students will also get a preview through their SGA representatives. We are pleased to share it with the entire campus community through InsideMGA.
