Office of Career Services – Announcements and Updates

Mind Your Manners Etiquette Dinner was hosted as a joint collaboration between Career Services, the Peer Career Advisors Club, and Sodexo. A total of 48 students and 3 employers attended.

Eleven (11) students, one faulty, and two staff members were provided free transportation from the MGA Macon campus to the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta to attend the largest career fair in the state of Georgia.

On March 29th, students, faculty and staff greeted nearly 30 employers hoping to connect with jobs seekers at the Middle Georgia State University Eastman School of Aviation Spring Career Fair.


President’s Blog: Continued Focus on Growth

Since I published my last blog, three important enrollment initiatives have occurred. Last weekend many of us met on our Cochran, Eastman, and Macon campuses to welcome hundreds of students and their guests to our first ever fully-fledged Open Houses. I thank the many staff and faculty who did an amazing job, with many of our Facilities staff even coming in at 5 am that morning. For several weeks many of us prepared for this occasion, and it was clearly a great success.


Torch Tournament Fun and Opportunities

New Location and Hours for Library Services on Warner Robins Campus

This semester Warner Robins campus Library services moved from Nola Brantley Memorial Library to Suite 119 in Oak Hall. Rotaract Club Charity Drive

The Rotaract Club of MGA will be meeting on March 8th at 2pm in PSC 329 on the Macon campus.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend in person or via Skype.

The club is currently collecting toiletry items to be distributed to safe houses and homeless shelters in the mid-Georgia area.
