Academic Writing Boot Camp

The English Studies Organization is proud to announce the return of the Academic Writing Boot Camp! This – by students/for students – event will take place March 1st in the Writing Center (TEB 226) on the Macon Campus and will serve as a general introduction to the riveting world of academic writing. Since space is limited, please RSVP to Benjamin Fincher by February 22nd.


Macon Campus Library Presents the Low Maintenance Book Club

Wanting to be a part of a reading club but not sure if you can commit to a whole book? MGA Library’s Low Maintenance Book Club may be the group for you! The spring meetings will be February 26th, March 26th, and April 30th in the Macon Campus Library’s conference room at 2:00 P.M.

The Rotaract Club of MGA to Host Bowling Party

The Rotaract Club of MGA will be hosting a bowling party on February 12, 2019 from 3:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. at the Macon Campus Student Wellness Center. Students are welcome to stop by to knock down some pins, grab some pizza and soda and meet your fellow Rotaractors of MGA at this FREE EVENT! Contact Club President Matthew Molina or Faculty Advisor Tina Ashford for more information about joining the service club. No minimum GPA and no dues!

2019 Spring Garden Symposium

Middle Georgia State University invites faculty, staff, students and the general public to the 2019 Spring Symposium. The event will be held on Saturday, February 23rd in the 1st floor of the Professional Sciences Building on the Macon Campus. Continental breakfast and registration begins at 8:30 A.M. Registration Fees include continental breakfast and buffet lunch: General Public $40.00. Faculty/Students $20.00.
