Dual-enrollment student Ryan Ashford is one of the #MGA Information Technology majors behind the development and maintenance of the vintage technology displays housed in the Professional Sciences building on the Macon Campus. Only 16 years old, he will make a bit of MGA history when he graduates this May with an associate’s degree in Information Technology.
Rotaract of #MGA just elected club officers for 2019-2020. Congratulations to Matthew Molina, president; Alexandra Molina, vice president; Ryan Ashford, treasurer; and Jayla Perkins, secretary. Ashford and member Jesse Whilhite will get to wear club honors cords at MGA’s graduation this spring. Rotaract is a worldwide Rotary-sponsored organization designed to bring together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.
The Rotaract Club of MGA will be meeting on the Macon Campus in the School of Information Technology’s conference room on April 2, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. All Rotaractors and potential members are encouraged to attend.
The Rotaract Club of MGA will be meeting on April 2nd at 4pm in PSC 329 on the Macon campus. Anyone interested is welcome to attend in person or via Skype. The club is currently collecting toiletry items to be distributed to safe houses and homeless shelters in the mid-Georgia area. Dropboxes for donations are located in the School of Information Technology and outside the Psychology Department Offices on the Macon campus, as well as in the Student Center at the Warner Robins Campus. New drop boxes are being added at the Post Office and Student Center at Cochran.
