As we all return to MGA campuses this fall, we are also welcoming our NEW food service provider for Middle Georgia State University, Aladdin! Aladdin comes to us with a vast amount of food experience, serving over 150 campuses across the United States and creating unique culinary experiences for students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests. We are so excited about this new partnership, and can’t wait to share changes, new ideas, meal plans, and more with the campus community!
Aladdin’s official start date is July 1st, but they are already preparing for the fall. In future communications, we will announce the start date of all dining services as well as website information, contact information, and much more. We wanted the campus community to be aware of the new vendor before changes begin taking effect. There is one change we can go ahead and announce: Effective this fall, all catering orders on our campuses for internal events will be placed with the Hatcher Conference Center (an exception will be student organization events). This change is to streamline operations, and help improve communication and quality of service for MGA events. The process for this change will be outlined, and communicated in a timely manner for the fall semester.
