Summer Work Schedule – May, June and July 2021
Middle Georgia State University will work a summer schedule of four 10-hour days per week. The summer schedule will begin on Monday, May 17 and continue through Thursday, July 29. The standard work schedule for the University will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch. All full-time, non-faculty employees should work this schedule unless they have prior approval to work a different schedule.
We will resume standard operating hours on Monday, August 2, 2021, working 8:00 am to 5:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until noon on Friday.
Memorial Day Schedule
The schedule for the week of Memorial Day will be as follows:

As you can see, the work and holiday hours for the week total only 38 hours. To reach the 40 hour required threshold, all non-faculty, full-time employees will be required to take 2 hours of annual (vacation) leave during this week.
Independence Day Schedule
The schedule for the week of Independence Day will be as follows:
