Middle Georgia State University’s chapter of an international nursing honor society has received the Regional Showcase of Excellence award. #MGA‘s Psi Rho chapter of Sigma Theta Tau was among the nine chapters in the southeast region to receive the award. The MGA chapter made a number of adjustments during the COVID pandemic to remain active, including meeting virtually, recruiting new members, and collaborating with the Middle Georgia Association of Nursing Students (MGSANS) to host the NCLEX Bowl. In addition, the chapter organized a donation drive to collect food for area food banks. The Psi Rho chapter is planning more activities to become even more visible at MGA in 2021-22. Congratulations!
