National Respiratory Care Week: October 24 - 30
October 24-30, 2021 is National Respiratory Care Week. During a year in which the pandemic has profiled the importance of highly trained Respiratory Therapists in caring for the most critical of patients, Middle Georgia State’s Department of Respiratory Therapy is working to assure RTs are abundant and prepared in our region. The Macon Campus offers a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy Entry-level program, as well as an AS to BS Bridge program. This week, RT students celebrate and thank the many RTs who help them be successful at their clinical sites by providing coffee baskets to get their shifts started right!
MGA's Department of Respiratory Therapy student organization, MGREAT, will also offer an education event in front of the Charles Jones Building on the Macon Campus on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 1-1:45 p.m. sharing a little about the RT profession.
