James R. Hagler, Jr., DPA, Assistant Professor of Sport Management at MGA, completed his dissertation defense on October 28, 2021 and received his Doctorate of Public Administration with a concentration in Sports Management from Valdosta State University on December 11, 2021. His dissertation was published on January 18, 2022, titled: "A Success Story? An Exploration of the Consolidation Efforts in the University System of Georgia."
