MGA Professor's Documentary Accepted Into Film Festivals

Congratulations to Lauren Cater, MGA assistant professor of film, whose short film "Daniel and Nate" has been accepted into the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival scheduled for February 18-27 in Missoula, Mont. The festival has a film acceptance rate of 7 percent, so this is an impressive accomplishment. Cater's documentary film tells the story of Daniel, one of 3.4 million U.S. children between the ages of 8 and 18 who has caregiving responsibilities for siblings or other children. Blue Sky Documentary Film Festival is a top-100 rated festival on FilmFreeway and is an Academy Award qualifying festival for short documentaries.
