Cochran Campus Cleanup

We all strive to leave the Earth better than we found it. About 30 MGA faculty, staff, and students put their green thumbs to good use and did just that this Earth Day with a Cochran Campus cleanup and tree planting. MGA Facilities, Georgia Academy, Residence Life, and Student Life hosted the event on Friday, April 22.

Director of Facilities Operations, Brian Harrell is extremely grateful for the help and was eager to get Knights involved in the campus community while promoting campus cleanliness.

"Following the recent storm on the Cochran Campus, Facilities jumped at the opportunity to support campus cleanup and Earth Day events in Cochran. We will do whatever we need to help the Georgia Academy, Student Life, and Residence Life be successful in any event-especially in an event like this one. It's just one of so many amazing gestures this campus and community have made to MGA Facilities & Grounds. People know how nice we try and keep our campus, so when they saw it wrecked from a storm of this magnitude, they were all immediately ready to go to work."

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Cochran Campus greener and cleaner!
