41NBC spoke with Jennifer Wright, Project SEARCH instructor at Middle Georgia State University, and Nicholas Haynes, a special needs student at Central High School who recently committed to Project SEARCH, about the program. Haynes will begin his training at MGA in August.
Through Project SEARCH, Bibb students/recent grads with developmental challenges work internships through Aladdin, the University’s food services vendor, and other MGA departments to gain employable skills so they can build resumes and eventually apply for paid jobs.
