April Renfroe-Warren, MGA’s Collections Librarian, recently completed an online course through Oxford University’s Department for Continuing Education. The course titled, “Colin Dexter’s Inspector Morse”, examined the character who first appeared in the book Last Bus to Woodstock. It covered a variety of topics including Dexter’s creation of the character, the role that academia and the city of Oxford play in the Morse universe, and the evolution of colleagues and sidekicks in the literary and television world of Inspector Morse and the show’s spinoffs, Lewis and Endeavour.
