Our friends at the USG have asked us to pass along this opportunity for a bit of summer fun – to join your University System of Georgia colleagues from across the system for a special night of Atlanta Braves baseball on
September 3!Chancellor Sonny Perdue will throw out the ceremonial first pitch as the Braves take on the Miami Marlins and celebrate public higher education in Georgia. An entire section in the Home Run Porch of Truist Park will be reserved for USG employees and their families, as we come together to cheer on the home team.
Tickets for the game are a discounted $33 per person, and you can purchase them as well as parking for an additional charge at
this special website set up for USG only.
Deadline to purchase is Saturday, August 20, at 11:59 p.m., and the tickets are subject to availability.This is Labor Day weekend, so you a bit more time to relax, enjoy, and represent MGA among the USG’s 26 public colleges and universities!
