Join MGA's Student Success Center for the Budgeting for College Costs Panel on Tuesday, August 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Microsoft Teams.
The panel is hosted by the Student Success Center and features panelists Dr. Yaseen S. Alhaj-Yaseen, Ms. Tabitha Floyd, J.D., and Ms. Julie Davis. Panelists from the School of Business and the MGA Foundation will discuss various topics such as the short and long Foundation essay prompts, scholarships, “mental accounting bias,” 529 plans, ROTH accounts, APR, how long to keep tax records, what 100/300/100 means for car insurance, credit cards, and investing risk levels.
Students can join the panel here (link will become active once the event begins on August 23). The link will also be sent to students via MGA email by Paul Johnson, Macon Campus Student Success Center Coordinator (paul.johnson@mga.edu) on August 22.
