Teaching Asia Across the Curriculum Virtual Workshop - March 31

Teaching Asia Across the Curriculum Workshop

Friday, March 31 | 9:30AM-3:30PM

Virtual | Zoom

MGA Faculty are welcome to attend the free Teaching Asia Across the Curriculum Virtual Workshop on Friday, March 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Asia Council of the University System of Georgia, this workshop explores Asia across various regions - East, South, and Southeast Asia - from diverse academic perspectives, such as humanities, social sciences, and STEM.

Why Asia? Asia is the world's largest and most populated region, rivaling the West in economic, geopolitical, and socio-cultural influence. It is important for faculty to understand Asia, and to integrate Asian content and issues into their courses when appropriate.

Register here, and during the week of the workshop, you will receive Zoom links for workshop sessions. Attend any sessions based on your interests or academic areas.
