The Center for Career & Leadership Development (CCLD) will be hosting the Aviation Career Fair on April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the City of Eastman Room. To get students ready for this big event, the CCLD will be hosting Professional Checkpoint Day on March 29 and Resume & Career Prep Workshop with Republic Airways on April 5.
March 29: Professional Checkpoint Day. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the CCLD staff will be in the Flight Lobby along with Delta Tech Ops and Republic Airways to help students get ready for the career fair and future interviews. Students will rotate to different stations to learn about resumes, interviewing, and professional attire and communication. This event is also an opportunity for students to schedule resume reviews or mock interview appointments with a career advisor.
April 5: Resume & Career Prep Workshop hosted by Republic Airways. At 3 p.m. in Classroom 2025 on the Eastman Campus, Republic Airways will present resume and career preparation tips to help any aviation student get ready for the career fair and upcoming interviews. This session will focus on information that will help any student who has dreams of working for an airline or within the aviation industry. To pre-register, students can sign-up via Handshake.
April 6: Aviation Career Fair & LinkedIn Headshot Day. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the City of Eastman Room, students and alumni can network with employers and get their LinkedIn Headshot taken. For a complete list of companies that are attending, anyone can use the public student link on Handshake. The CCLD strongly encourages students to bring resumes with them to the event, particularly if they are close to graduation or seeking internships and other student positions. This event is open to all students.
