CCLD Seeking MGA Students for Internship Reporting Portal

Do you know an MGA student who has recently done, or is currently doing, an internship? If so, the MGA Center for Career & Leadership Development (CCLD) now has a portal for reporting internships! Students who have completed an internship anytime from spring 2022 to present day can now report their internship experience to the CCLD through a feature called “Experiences.” By reporting their internships through Experiences (which should take around 5 minutes), students will help the CCLD better track internship opportunities, be spotlighted in their “Internship Spotlight Series” on social media (@mgaccld on Facebook and Instagram), and are also eligible to receive a CCLD internship graduation cord!

To report a 2022-2023 internship in “Experiences,” visit mga.joinhandshake.com/experiences. NOTE: If the student has not activated their Handshake account yet, they will need to do so first with their MGA email address at mga.joinhandshake.com

Faculty who handle any internship courses for academic credit at MGA are also encouraged to report those to the CCLD as well. Their office can assist with entering them into the Experiences portal.

Additionally, requirements for what counts as an internship can be found here and guidelines for how to receive a CCLD Internship cord can be found here.

For any issues or questions, please reach out to Dr. Heather McIntosh, Assistant Director for Internships & Career Readiness, at heather.mcintosh@mga.edu.
