MGA's Department of Political Science will continue its discussion series with two events this spring. Both events are free and open to the campus community and the public.
On Thursday, March 9, the department hosted a discussion event on Georgia state politics with a particular focus on the current legislative session and other recent developments, featuring Dr. John Hall and Dr. Julie Lester.

On Thursday, April 13, the department will be hosting a discussion with Mr. Don Diaz-Johnston, who was one of the plaintiffs in the case that ultimately overturned Florida’s law against same-sex marriage in 2014. He will be speaking about his experiences at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern) in Room 231 of the Teacher Education Building on the Macon Campus. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. James Decker.
