Middle Georgia State University’s Honors Convocation is where academic greatness is put on full display! The annual ceremony recognizes the academic year’s outstanding students and faculty members. Student honors include the naming of the President’s Scholar – a graduating senior chosen by the University president based on academic record, campus involvement, community service, and future potential. In addition, the University’s academic units recognize students for scholarly achievements in various disciplines, while specific faculty members are honored for achievements in teaching, scholarship, and service.
The 2023 Honors Convocation takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in the banquet hall of Hatcher Conference Center on the Macon Campus.
