Updates to Dual Enrollment Requirements

MGA Dual Enrollment offers high school students who wish to enroll part-time or full-time at the University an opportunity to earn college credit while completing high school graduation requirements.

Students now have two pathways to meet admissions requirements:

Pathway 1 (all requirements must be met):

  • A high school GPA in core curriculum classes of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be on track to complete Required High School Curriculum requirements
  • Must have taken the PSAT, SAT, ACT or Accuplacer and have scored:
    • PSAT/SAT
      • 480 Evidence based reading/writing OR 440 math
    • ACT
      • 17 math OR 17 english/reading section
    • Accuplacer
      • 258 math OR 237 reading and writeplacer

OR

Pathway 2 (all requirements must be met):

  • A high school GPA in core curriculum classes of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be on track to complete Required High School Curriculum requirements
  • Must have completed 2 years of high school English, by the start of the term
  • Must have completed high school Algebra 2 or higher, by the start of the term
