The Georgia Association of Museums (GAM) is pleased to announce the recipients of the Museum Services Exchange (MUSE) grants for 2023. The MUSE program provides funding and consulting services to museums in Georgia that need assistance with specific projects. This year, two museums have been selected to receive MUSE grants: the Coffee County Historical Society and the Museum of Technology at Middle Georgia State University.
The Museum of Technology (MoT) at Middle Georgia State University will receive a MUSE grant to assist them with developing themes for their museum exhibitions. The museum has a large collection of technological artifacts that showcase the evolution of computing and science in various fields. The MUSE consultant will review the collection and help the museum staff determine the best way to showcase it in a way that is visually appealing and interactive.
The MoT is open to everyone during the Macon Campus library hours and is located on the first floor of the library building.
