MGA is proud to salute the Project SEARCH Class of 2023, members of which graduated at a ceremony held May 18 on the Macon Campus. MGA partners with the Bibb County School District to offer job experience to students with developmental challenges. Throughout the academic year, Project SEARCH participants rotate through internships that include working for Aladdin, MGA’s food services vendor, and at the bookstore and library. The goal is to help each student find a paid job at the end of their Project SEARCH internships.
Congratulations to the Class of 2023: Jason Brooks, Stephen Cotton, Parker Flury, Nicholas Haynes, Jhonshia Morgan, Lameisha Robertson, Carter Robinson, and Matthew Stephens. All the graduates have been hired or are close to being hired by area employers.
