Dr. Sharon Standridge recently represented MGA's Department of Natural Sciences at the 2023 Middle GA STEM City Symposium held at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins. The purpose of this event was to bring awareness to STEM outreach and education opportunities in the Middle Georgia area.
This year’s symposium was attended by more than 1,050 people (over 500 under the age of 13), surpassing last year’s numbers by 25 percent. Representatives from approximately nine states and 23 Georgia counties were present. Dr. Standridge used this opportunity to promote the biology and REP programs in Natural Sciences to a large audience of potential future MGA students!
