Coffee and Conversation with Dr. Andre Nicholson & Dr. LaRonda Sanders-Senu
Throughout the month of October, the MGA Library will host Dr. Andre Nicholson, professor in MGA's Department of Media, Culture and the Arts, and Dr. LaRonda Sanders-Senu, associate professor of English, for the first Coffee and Conversation series of fall 2023.
Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Sanders-Senu will discuss Insecure, Awkward, and #Winning: Intersectionality of Race, Gender, and Sexuality in the Works of Issa Rae. The duo are among the co-editors of the anthology, where each chapter is based on the life of Issa Rae, an American actress, writer, producer, and comedian and one of the few Black female media owners and influencers.
