Through an initiative called "Educating ALL Learners," MGA
teacher education majors met at the Macon Campus on Friday, Sept. 29, to embark on a field trip of selected Bibb County schools - Heritage, Veterans, and Southfield.
The teacher candidates saw exceptional children with vastly different learning needs at three different schools/settings. The teacher candidates observed an instructional period, watched the students interact with the teachers, and heard from experienced instructors who fielded questions and shared testimonies of best practices that the candidates can use to meet the needs of all students to truly ensure equity in education.
