MGA's Georgia Army National Guard Recruiter, SFC Stephen Cockrell, has moved offices to Student Life Center (SLC) 165, Macon Campus. This move will bring him closer in proximity to the Veteran and Military Resource Center. Students can make an appointment to meet with SFC Cockrell to learn more about full-ride scholarships, tuition assistance, student loan repayment, leadership development, STEM occupations, job skills and paid training, and health care benefits. Cherry Blossom Veterans Day Parade

MGA military-connected students and Veterans are invited to ride in the Cherry Blossom Veterans Parade on our co-sponsored vehicle with the GA Army National Guard. If you wish to ride in the parade, send an email to vacerts@mga.edu.
The Cherry Blossom Festival proudly salutes our veterans! Join us for Macon-Bibb County’s Veterans Day Celebration featuring the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Macon on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 3 p.m. Be sure to get there early to see the F-15 Flyover from Robins Air Force Base. Enjoy patriotic themed floats, military units, marching bands and all of the fun as we honor our hometown heroes. MGA is a community sponsor for this event.
