Happy New Year from the Office of Campus Culture & Community! January 15th is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Each year, communities celebrate MLK Day with various events, educational programs, and community service opportunities.
This year, the Office of Campus Culture & Community and the Office of Student Life are collaborating in honor of MLK Day to support The King Center's theme of "It Starts With Me" by offering MGA students the opportunity to serve during MGA's campus clean up events in Macon and Cochran. Participants will also get a free MLK shirt as a thank-you while supplies last!
For more information on the MLK MGA Campus Clean Up, contact Ashley Thompson, Coordinator, Campus Culture & Community, at ashley.thompson5@mga.edu or Devereaux Lindsey, Assistant Director, Greek Life & Community Service, at devereaux.lindsey@mga.edu.
You can also find a list of MLK DAY 2024 community celebrations and other resources on the Office of Campus Culture & Community events page - one of several places where the office promotes events that support a welcoming, supportive campus culture and community! Check the events page for updates!
