Ronnie Shipman, Instructional Technology Coach for Monroe County Schools, shared the latest happenings in artificial intelligence in the K-12 setting and athletics at the March Association of Information Technology Students (AITS)/ISC2 Speaker Series. Students, faculty, and members of the cybersecurity industry gathered at the MGA Warner Robins Campus Walker Auditorium for an insightful presentation on new applications and new instructional practices.

Brent Lanford, Chief Technology Officer for the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, is scheduled to be the Tuesday, April 16, 5:30 p.m. speaker. Additionally, the School of Computing will honor Alpha Iota Mu inductees with a reception and recognition before the meeting begins at the MGA Warner Robins Campus in the Walker Auditorium. Alpha Iota Mu inductees are graduating information technology majors at the bachelor's and master's degree levels who have maintained a 3.85 GPA or higher.
