Hey Knights! As we prepare to hit the books this semester, MGA's Office of the Registrar would like to remind students of important dates and reminders for spring 2024.
- Attendance in class or completion of an online activity for fully online courses during the drop/add period is required. eCore (not sponsored by MGA) has a different e-learning platform. Check your email on the first day of class for instructions on how to log in and make sure to complete the attendance activity. If you are not registered per the official course roster, you may not attend class. Attendance must be confirmed by each professor in order to maintain your enrollment.
- First day of class for eCore was Monday, Jan. 8. All other MGA classes in Short Session I and Full Session began Wednesday, Jan. 10.
- Drop/add period for MGA Short Session I ended Thursday, Jan. 11; Full Session ends Wednesday, Jan. 17. During this time, a student may remove, or drop, courses on their schedule without penalty. A decision to drop a class past the deadline will be processed as a withdrawal. R efer to the eCore Calendar for drop/add dates.
- Review your billing statement on SWORDS , Student, Pay Now, Your Bills. The payment deadline for Session I and Full Session is Wednesday, Jan. 17. Financial obligations must be met in order to maintain your enrollment. Disbursement of financial aid funds or certifications of enrollment to the VA are not processed until after the drop/add period ends.
