February is Black History Month! Each year, communities across the nation celebrate Black History Month with a variety of events, educational programs, and community service opportunities.
The 2024 theme is "African Americans and the Arts" spanning the many impacts Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements, and more (source: Black History Month | Smithsonian).
