It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of current MGA student Christian Butler on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Spring 2024 was Christian's first semester at MGA. He was a senior transfer student from Utah Tech University working on his certificate in Aviation Maintenance Airframe/Powerplant. He had a passion for baseball, particularly the Atlanta Braves, and had visited 12 major league baseball parks. Christian's kind spirit will be greatly missed by the MGA family.
Memorial services were held on Friday, February 23 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sharpsburg. Sympathies can still be expressed online here.
The MGA flag will be flown for one week in memory of Christian. The flag will then be presented to the family as a symbol of respect and remembrance.
