On Saturday, March 9, MGA's Department of Political Science hosted its first Youth Civic Summit on the Macon Campus. Open to all interested students in grades nine through 12, the summit was designed to help area high school students learn more about local government and community issues. U.S. Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr. of Georgia's 2nd Congressional District served as the keynote speaker.
