Staff Council Nominations 2024-2025

The Staff Council Nominations Committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2024–2025 term. Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, April 30.

Staff members can self-nominate or be nominated by a Vice President or fellow employee. Only full-time benefited non-faculty employees who have been employed by the University for a minimum of six (6) months are eligible for nomination. Staff may nominate themselves or a fellow staff member via the 2024 Staff Council Nomination Form.

Staff Councilor Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Serve for a two-year term
  • Required to attend monthly Staff Council meetings
  • Required to serve on at least one subcommittee
  • Other items mentioned in the MGA Staff Council Bylaws

Staff members who are nominated will be asked to complete and submit the Staff Council Nomination Agreement prior to being added to the official ballot. Nominated staff members will not be added to the official ballot if the Staff Council Nomination Agreement is not signed by both the staff member and his/her direct supervisor.
