In August 2023, Haley Kindle, senior news producer at WJCL 22 News in Savannah, Ga., and a 2021 graduate of MGA's School of Arts & Letters, along with her team produced minute-by-minute coverage ahead of Hurricane Idalia that impacted Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry. In June, Kindle and team were awarded the Southeast Emmy for Best Newscast for their coverage!
