Congratulations to the MGA Writing Center, which recently earned the Center Acknowledgment and Recognition of Excellence (CARE) certification from the Southeastern Writing Center Association (SWCA)! MGA is one of only three college/university writing centers in Georgia to have earned the certification.
The CARE program certifies writing centers that are committed to literacy, learning, and writing. The CARE program establishes professional criteria relevant to diverse local contexts, providing writing centers the opportunity to articulate their unique stories and celebrate their accomplishments. Currently, CARE is the only certification by the writing center community for the writing center community. The program is sponsored by the SWCA.
