Celebrate Korean & K-Pop! - October 7

“Celebrate Korean & K-Pop!”

Monday, October 7 | 6-8PM

Macon Campus | Math Auditorium

MGA faculty, staff, students, and the local community are invited to the annual “Celebrate Korean & K-Pop!” on October 7, 6-8 p.m. in the Math Auditorium on the Macon Campus. MGA students and faculty will showcase their Korean, sing and dance, and will give presentations on artworks inspired by Hangul (the Korean alphabet) and on Korean popular music (K-pop). K-pop music videos will be projected on the HD screen in the Math Auditorium and will be accompanied by commentary on Korean culture and K-pop music.

With the popularity of K-pop, K-dramas, and the interest in the Korean language and the overall K-Culture, this event will be a fun, informative opportunity for the MGA community!

The event is free and open to the public (PG-13) and is sponsored by the Modern Languages Program, Department of Media, Culture, & the Arts, and School of Arts & Letters.
