Knights' Business Battle - November 13

Get ready for the 5th annual Knights' Business Battle!

MGA's School of Business is hosting a business pitch competition inspired by ABC’s Shark Tank. All currently enrolled MGA students are eligible to participate.

1. Register by sending an email to simone.phipps@mga.edu with participant name(s) by Wednesday, October 9, at 5:30 p.m.
2. Prepare a one to three minute business pitch
3. Prepare to answer questions about your pitched business:

• Company Description, Competitive Advantage, and Strategy
• Unique Selling Proposition / Value Proposition
• SWOT Analysis
• Company Vision and Mission
• Business Objectives
• Marketing Plan
• Management and Operations Plan
• Capital Requirements and Earnings Projections
• Company Valuation

4. Top finalists will pitch their ideas in person to judges on Wednesday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m.
5. Results will be revealed before the Thanksgiving holidays

Cash Awards:

• 1st place - $300
• 2nd place - $200
• 3rd place - $100

Note: Participants may enter the competition as an individual or as a team. Teams may not have more than 5 members. Prize money will be shared equally among team members.
