NASA International Space Apps Challenge - October 5-6

NASA International Space Apps Challenge

October 5-6

Join MGA's Association of Information Technology Students (AITS) and the CyberKnights as they form teams to compete in one of 20 different challenges at this year’s NASA International Space Apps Challenge, October 5-6.

The hackathon is for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, technologists, and innovators worldwide to come together and use open data from NASA and its Space Agency Partners to create solutions to challenges we face on Earth and in space.

AITS and the CyberKnights will be forming on-campus teams at the Macon Campus in rooms PSC 256 and 257 for the two-day challenge. Online students can form teams and be part of the challenge too!

If you’re interested in forming an online team or face-to-face team, please contact AITS or the CyberKnights captains today:

  • AITS Leader Keyvian Davis, keyvian.davis@mga.edu to be part of the two-day challenge face-to-face on campus.
  • CyberKnights Lead Coby Roy, coby.roy@mga.edu to be part of the online team.

Once formed, teams must register for the International Space Apps Challenge: https://www.spaceappschallenge.org/nasa-space-apps-2024/
