R.A.D. for Women Self-Defense Training Course

September 17-19 @ 6PM | Cochran Campus, Alderman Hall

September 24-26 @ 6PM | Macon Campus, MGA Police Department 

MGA Police are sponsoring the R.A.D. women's self-defense program on the Cochran and Macon campuses September 17-19 and 2-26 at 6 p.m. Each course is three days in length with different material being taught each night. Classes are open to the public with MGA Campus community having priority seating. Women ages 13-17 are welcome but require parental authorization and presence. It is recommended that participants bring water, and wear athletic or comfortable clothing and enclosed athletic shoes.

Taught by nationally certified instructors, the Rape Aggression Defense System (R.A.D.) is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing to the basics of hands-on defense training.
