NatSci Majors Mixer: Meet-n-Greet Info Session with NatSci Majors and Faculty
The Department of Natural Sciences would like to invite you to our Fall semester Majors Mixer event Thursday, September 12, 3:30 p.m. in Jones 396, Macon Campus!
Come and learn more about what the natural sciences department has to offer, including internships, research, and clubs. Also, meet faculty and fellow students! There will be snacks!

Augusta University Medical/Dental School Info Session: Visit from Admissions Reps
All students interested in medical or dental school:
On Tuesday, September 17, 1-2 p.m. in PSC 112, Macon Campus, admissions reps from Augusta University will be on campus to host a Q&A covering the following programs:
Fall Semester Young Physician’s Initiative (YPI) Meetings
Biology majors and pre-med interested students:
The first Young Physician’s Initiative Workshop for the fall semester series is Wednesday, September 25, 4-5 p.m., in Jones 279, Macon Campus. This session will include a student panel discussing/answering questions on applying to medical school – application, MCAT, extracurriculars, personal statements, etc.
If you are new to the YPI group, here is some general information:
YPI is the Young Physician's Initiative group of medical students from Mercer University who are working with MGA to offer insights and informational opportunities about medical school to interested undergrads.
Fall 2024 meeting schedule:
Topics include: student panel to discuss ins/outs of medical school experience, how to apply and get accepted, MCAT, GPA, and more.
The YPI group is interested in helping undergrads in their journey towards planning and applying to med school, even if it is not Mercer. So, even if you are unsure of when/where you might want to attend medical school, this is a great opportunity to ask questions to the current medical students and medical school representatives.
