Tina Ashford, MGA IT professor and Museum of Technology curator, presented the History and Evolution of Cryptography lecture to CyberKnights club members on October 8.
Students learned about the impact ancient cryptography has on the importance of cryptography in cybersecurity today. Students were also shown examples of the Jefferson Disk Cipher, the Confederate Code Disk Cipher, and a simple Enigma Cipher.
The hands-on presentation was engaging for the students and an educational experience.
