On Thursday, October 10, the Macon-Bibb Mayor’s Council of Clergy held its regular luncheon at MGA's Macon Campus.
The Clergy Council typically meets every two months to give local religious leaders an opportunity to discuss issues facing the Macon-Bibb community while talking with other ministers and organizations aimed at promoting peace and justice in the community.
"'Middle Georgia State University was honored to host the Mayor’s Council of Clergy and to welcome such distinguished community leaders to our campus. This gathering provides a vital opportunity for dialogue about the ways faith can positively impact our region, fostering connections that promote unity, understanding, and shared progress,' said Christopher Blake, Ph.D., MGA’s president."
