MGA's Betsy McDaniel Appointed to the State Board of Occupational Therapy

Middle Georgia State University’s Betsy McDaniel has been appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to the State Board of Occupational Therapy. She was officially sworn into office by the Governor on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the state capitol.

McDaniel, chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Science, will serve a four-year term as one of six board members. The board’s responsibilities include developing and regulating licensure laws and regulations, investigating malpractice reports, and overseeing the licensing of occupational therapy professionals in Georgia.
