MGA is grateful to all who participated in the annual Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11, in downtown Macon. The University and Macon-Bibb County co-host the event each year.
In addition to honoring all veterans, participants remembered the sacrifices of those made by the 151st Machine Gun Battalion, 42nd Rainbow Division, members of which lost their lives during World War I. The ceremony tookplace at the Coleman Hill monument established in memory of those battalion members.
