Significant advancements in classroom technology are being rolled out across MGA's Macon, Cochran, and Warner Robins campuses. The updates in the School of Arts & Letters (SOAL) classrooms in Macon have already been completed. In Cochran, Walker Hall is on track to be finished by early November, and later this month, Oak Hall in Warner Robins will receive the same enhancements in four rooms.
These upgrades include new instructor station PCs and improved audiovisual equipment. Some classrooms now feature large 86” ViewSonic ViewBoards, while others have been fitted with larger screens and new projectors.
The Office of Technology Resources (OTR) will host a demonstration in Macon to showcase the new technology on Thursday, November 7, at 2 p.m. in SOAL 202. A demonstration in Cochran will follow once installations are complete.
Additionally, for those eager to explore on their own, ViewSonic’s website offers excellent self-paced video tutorials, covering everything from basic functionality to advanced tools. MGA IT Services team is ready to assist with any technical issues, and the CETL is available to help faculty strategically use this new technology in their teaching.
OTR truly appreciates your patience and encourage your feedback as they continue to enhance our learning environments. For any issues, please reach out to IT Services at 478.757.2634 or visit help.mga.edu.
