Support Services Over the Holiday Break: Food Assistance, Mental Health Support & More

Hello Knights!

The winter holiday can be a difficult time for many students. MGA Student Affairs wants to make sure students are aware of some of the resources available to you during the holiday break.

Food Assistance

For students staying on the Cochran Campus during the winter break, enjoy a hot meal in the community!

Local churches in the Cochran community are generously offering one free hot meal to students who will remain on campus during the holidays. Meals can be picked up at the BCM in Cochran, GA (next to Wendy's) from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Meal dates: December 12, 16, 17, 19, 23, 27, 30, and January 2.

State & Federal Assistance - Single Stop

Single Stop is a 15-minute state and federal benefit screener that will allow students to see if they are eligible for assistance programs. Student Care works alongside with Single Stop to provide assistance for our students through the application process. Single Stop also provides a local resources finder for community resources: https://app.singlestop.org/mga/main.
