The Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) announced the 2024 Barnes & Noble College Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year. MGA's own men's soccer player James Skelton was named to the Scholar-Athlete Team after posting a 3.67 GPA while also 18 points on nine goals this season.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions.
