2025 Student Leadership Conference
Friday, February 28 | 9 AM-3:35 PM
Macon Campus | Robert C. Hatcher Jr. Conference Center
Registration for the 2025 Student Leadership Conference is now open! The Conference is FREE for all MGA students. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to experience what it’s like to participate in a professional conference by registering here. The Conference is also an experience that can be listed on students' resumes, showing that they are willing to go above and beyond to make themselves a stronger professional.
This year's conference theme is the importance of positive character to effective leadership and the focus is on helping students understand how developing strong, positive character can improve their leadership. Raven Scott, speaker, facilitator, workshop leader, leadership coach and founder of Chasing Light Collective and the Training Ground, will serve as the Plenary Speaker for the 2025 Student Leadership Conference.
Breakfast and lunch (taco bar) are provided. Students registered before Feb. 17 will receive a free t-shirt. There will be over 25 door prizes raffled at the end of the day! Transportation will be provided for Cochran and Eastman students, leaving from Sanford Hall in Cochran at 7:30 a.m.
Check out the Student Leadership Conference page for more information. Questions? Email Rafael Villamil, rafael.villamil@mga.edu.
The MGA Student Leadership Conference is a free event for current students to network and connect with other students interested in developing as leaders. The conference will help you develop skills necessary for student leadership positions on campus, and professional and community leadership roles by participating in sessions that introduce new ideas, challenge ways of thinking, and empower you to make a difference.
